Club member Robert Lang is currently building a layout for his marklin collection at his home in Connecticut. The picture above shows a well-lit, airy room with plenty of working space… something many of us modelers envy!

Robert is including a helix on his layout that will enable trains to climb and descend different levels. The above pictures show good progress. A Marklin Central Station and numerous turn-out controllers are used to operate Robert’s complex layout.

Robert’s layout is to include catenary (photo 1 above) and a classic loading/unloading crane (photo 2 above). It is already proving to be a fun layout to own and operate. We look forward to seeing his scenic details.
